These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Evemiit Studio platform at studio.evemiit.com ("Studio", "Platform", "we", "us", "our"). The Studio is the production side of Evemiit where organizations, hosts, anchors, co-hosts and producers ("you", "your") create, manage, monetize and broadcast live events, meetings, services, classes, shows and recordings.
By creating an account or using the Studio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Studio.
You must be at least 18 years old (or of legal age to contract in your jurisdiction) to register. You must provide accurate, current information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
The Studio provides tools to schedule and broadcast live events, manage crew roles, invite viewers and members, run breakout rooms, collect donations, sell paid access when that feature is added at the studio, record and publish VOD, manage billing, etc. Features vary by subscription plan and sector (e.g. Faith, Corporate, Education).
You agree not to use the Studio to broadcast or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others. You must not record or redistribute others' streams or content without permission, attempt to circumvent access controls, or misuse personal data of viewers. You must respect any end-to-end encryption (E2EE) applied to meetings and private events.
You retain all rights to the content you upload and broadcast. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, stream, store, transcode and distribute your content solely to provide the Service. You represent that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses and permissions (including music, images and video) for everything you broadcast.
You are solely responsible for the lawfulness of your events, for honoring paid access and donations, and for refunds due under our Refund Policy. You are responsible for your viewers' and members' experience and for any claims arising from your events.
Donations and paid event transactions are processed through third-party payment providers. A platform margin applies to donations as published (e.g. 2.5% for Faith events and 7.5% for others). A platform margin of 7.5% will apply to all paid programs when paid programs become available in the Studio. You are responsible for your own payout account and taxes.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay, or present legal or security risk. You may cancel your account at any time, subject to your plan's terms. Data retention after termination follows our Privacy Policy.
The Studio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Evemiit and its affiliates from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your content, your events, or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Evemiit operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will first be resolved in good faith; unresolved disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
